LEGAL EDUCATION & ADVOCACY PIPELINE

Closing the Justice Gap

Because the communities most affected by law and policy deserve to be the ones shaping it.

THE LEGAL PROFESSION DOES NOT

REFLECT THE COMMUNITIES IT SERVES

The Representation
Gap is Real.

THESE GAPS ARE NOT ACCIDENTAL.

These gaps are not accidental. They reflect how access to the legal profession is structured and who is supported along the way.

THESE DISPARITIES ARE INTERCONNECTED

While these disparities are most visible across race, they intersect with other forms of underrepresentation, including first-generation professionals, students from low-income backgrounds, and those without access to the networks and guidance that shape entry into the field.

CREATING PATHWAYS INTO LAW AND ADVOCACY

Bar None guides people historically underrepresented in law and advocacy from first exposure through early career as attorneys, advocates, and changemakers, building a more just and representative system from the inside out.

Why Bar None Exists.jpg

Why BAR NONE
Exists.

Bar None was created to address persistent underrepresentation in the legal profession.

We focus on the points where people are most likely to be filtered out, not because of talent, but because of limited access to guidance, preparation, and networks.

Our work ensures that those historically underrepresented have what they need to pursue law, navigate entry, and build lasting careers.

Our Programs

Bar None's programs meet students and attorneys at every stage of the legal career journey, from early exploration through the first years of practice.
